Valon Behrami (Watford)
Valon Behrami has been at Watford since 2015, but the 32-year-old Switzerland international midfielder has yet to show the kind of form he exhibited when he was at Italian club Napoli.

Vladimir Petkovic has claimed that he is extremely happy with the rise in Switzerland’s rankings on the international stage.
After his appointment, Switzerland have been steadily climbing up the FIFA rankings and they are now placed fifth in the world. It is the highest ever ranking achieved by Switzerland, and most of the credit has been going to the manager.

Switzerland's European neighbours are already starting to back themselves for the World Cup next year. With the Swiss still a long way from qualifying, both France and Poland have claimed their in with a shout.
Former Arsenal and France striker Thierry Henry believes that the French national team will be ready for the next world cup in Russia. He said that this is a strong squad and that they just need time to play together.

Hull City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic is on the verge of sealing a move to Leicester City after he was allowed to travel to Hong Kong to complete the necessary formalities.
The one-time Switzerland international featured in 22 games for the Tigers last season, but he was unable to prevent their drop to the Championship after they finished 18th in the league standings.
The 32-year-old is expected to undergo a series of medical tests in the Far East before officially becoming a Foxes player later this month. Leicester are due to take on West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League Asia Trophy in midweek, but it is highly unlikely that he will take part in the pre-season friendly.

Two exhibition matches are planned in Pakistan this weekend, with many of the World's top football stars poised to appear in the games with the hope that it would spur more growth for the game in a cricket-crazed nation.
The recently retired Brazilian Ronaldinho is set to lead the stars for the games. One is set for Karachi on Saturday and the other in Lahore the next day. The exhibition is dubbed “Ronaldinho and friends” and will have stars like Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs, Dutchman George Boateng, former Arsenal stars Robert Pires and Nicolas Anelka, aside from the former Barcelona playmaker.

Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has affirmed that the club have no intention of selling star performer Xherdan Shaqiri during this summer’s transfer window.
The Switzerland international has been identified as a potential target for AS Roma, who will be replacing Liverpool-bound Mohamed Salah this month. Shaqiri’s brother has also highlighted that the attacker could prefer a move to Rome in the future, but Coates has poured cold water on any speculation.

Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka has been subjected to much criticism since his £ 35 million move to Arsenal last summer.
Even after having spent such a vast sum of money on a player from German football, Arsenal have been unable to enjoy a strong campaign. In fact, the club are looking set to miss out on the Champions League campaign for next season as a result of finishing outside the top four. Arsenal, though, are ending the season with a flourish once again with Granit Xhaka one of the best players over the last few weeks. His form once again came to the fore when he scored one of the goals in the 2-0 win over Manchester United.
