Hull City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic is on the verge of sealing a move to Leicester City after he was allowed to travel to Hong Kong to complete the necessary formalities.


The one-time Switzerland international featured in 22 games for the Tigers last season, but he was unable to prevent their drop to the Championship after they finished 18th in the league standings.

The 32-year-old is expected to undergo a series of medical tests in the Far East before officially becoming a Foxes player later this month. Leicester are due to take on West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League Asia Trophy in midweek, but it is highly unlikely that he will take part in the pre-season friendly.
