Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure are staying at Manchester City

The summer transfer window is approaching and Manchester City is one of England’s top spenders as the club is characterized for their harsh spending for top players.

There are a lot of rumors going around surrounding certain players in the team of Manuel Pellegrini and most of them have been linking Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure with a move outside of the Etihad Stadium but it seems like neither of those players will be leaving Manchester City as the coach of the team denied the rumors which claimed that the club was going to sell them.

When Manchester City’s Manuel Pellegrini was asked on whether or not Sergio Aguero was going to be offloaded in the summer transfer window, the Chilean manager responded by saying: "I don't think so because we are not a selling team and I think that Sergio is very happy here, so he doesn't have any intention to go."

Yaya Toure is another player who has consistently been linked with a move away from Manchester City as the Ivorian midfielder has not been having the best of times with the club after a number of incidents that have occurred but Pellegrini rejected those rumors as well as he said:
“When you ask me around one month ago I always say that Yaya is very happy here,” said the Chilean. That he doesn’t have any intention to go to another club. Maybe his agent is talking about other things, but the reality is that he will stay here with us. I am always talking with all the players. That is why I said that Yaya will stay here because I know the way he thinks.’’

Yaya Toure is earning around €220,000 each week and still has 2 more years left in his contract.

Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure are 2 of the most influential and important players for Manchester City, it would be very difficult for the Premier League club to find performers who could fill in their boots if they were to be offloaded which isn’t going to happen according to Pellegrini.

Even though this season was a disappointing one for Manchester City as they failed on winning any major titles, it was confirmed some time ago that Manuel Pellegrini will continue coaching the Premier League club and the Chilean is expected to sign a number of players during the summer transfer window in order to reinforce his squad and avoid going through any other disappointing seasons.
