EVERTON WOMEN COMPLETE THE SIGNING OF SWISS PLAYER

Alisha Lehmann, a Switzerland international football player has taken a bold step further in her career by signing for Everton Women, the club have confirmed. The prolific forward joined from local rivals West Ham United and will remain at Everton for the rest of the campaign. Lehman's signing will go down as the second top-class signing for the club recently after one of England's finest players Jill Scott joined from Manchester City - on loan too.

Lehman is still very young and only turned 22 years of age last week. She initially joined West Ham United from Switzerland's BSC Young Boys Frauen in the summer transfer window of 2018. She was an integral player for the Hammers as they played their way to the final of the Women's FA Cup in the 2018/19 season.

Her prolific displays also earned her a nomination for the PFA Young Player of The Season award in her debut campaign in the Women's Super League.
Uponsigning, Lehmann said she has joined Everton because she intends to reach new height and is ready to put in her best performances to ensure that she makes a name for herself at her new club.
She also thanked her new manager Willie Kirk and described that her joining Everton is amazing. She also added that even though there were other clubs interested in snapping her up, Everton was always her first choice and that she was very happy everything was finalized.
Everton will now be looking to put in a more tough challenge in the current campaign as they intend to finish the season ok a very high note. The signing of Jill Scott and Alisha Lehmann shows just how determined Everton are to cement themselves as genuine contenders and the team to beat this season.
