VR Brings Football Fans Closer To The Action

At this point it’s becoming fairly widely accepted that virtual reality never quite caught fire the way it was supposed to. That doesn’t mean it’s failed. It’s certainly not “the new 3D television,” as some articles were hasty to declare when VR didn’t immediately revolutionize the entire world of technology. But it’s beginning to settle into being more of a niche tech than a new generation in and of itself.

In particular it’s becoming clearer, even through data, that virtual reality gaming isn’t catching on, and as a result some game developers are losing interest. What seemed a few years ago like the natural next iteration in high-end gaming has become a risky investment on the developer side of things, and there appears to be some thinking that continued focus on console and mobile games is wiser, at least for now.

KLOPP AND LIVERPOOL PLAYERS ARRIVE SWITZERLAND AHEAD OF EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL

Liverpool football club players and crew arrived the country ahead of the Europa League final slated for Wednesday against Spanish side, Sevilla in Basle.

The team arrived Switzerland on Monday ahead of the hugely anticipated Wednesday game. A European trophy and a place in next season's Champions League are up for grabs for the Reds, as they did not make top four in the Premier League.

Klopp, who has taken Liverpool to two cup finals during his first seven months in charge at Anfield, and his players were greeted at the club's training ground by excited supporters ahead earlier in the day before the team left for Switzerland to begin their final preparations. They played in the finals of the League One cup where they eventually lost to Manchester City.
